Black Magick Evocation of the Shem Ha Mephorash- G. De Laval

There is something sexy about a book bound in leather, either fully or partly. Because I cant afford nor do I actually want to risk deluxe edition grimoires I usually always go for the standard editions (except keys of ocat but that was a hella good deal) .
This book is part leather, part silk binding with beautiful symbols in silver.
Here is an excerpt from it I quite like on black magick.
Quote:
Generally speaking, all magick is black. The entirety of our art is condemned in part and in whole by the entirety of orthodoxy. All magick is the domain of the Devil by definition. Attempts to deny this are feckless and petulant disputes over semantics. This is the underlying truth behind all effective witchcraft and the sooner the witch stops running from it and accepts the nobility and essence, the danger and power of her ancient heritage, the sooner success will come to her in and out of the ritual chamber
I especially loved this:
Quote:
Any advanced student of magick will at once see the absolute uselessness of quibbling over this simple admission, as no witch worth her salt is an enemy of the Devil. She is free to create or destroy, love or hate, wound or heal, it is all the destructive energy summoned from chaos, and it is all black magick. light is darkness revealed and darkness is light hidden in higher dimensions.
I cant give a further description yet as I've just gotten it. I'll start working this book soon, but I just wanted to put it out there that there are only 200 copies of this one and it really IS a beauty. It is currently 55 Euros on http://www.aeonsophiapress.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
