Re: Similarity between Draugr or 'the undead' and haunted dolls: How do you think they all 'work'?

Another thing is it seems like people might have believed in parts of the world is that 'animated bodies' could 'teleport' or suddenly wind up outside of their original place and then return after their business is finished. People today have similar experiences with haunted dolls it seems or is it ...

Re: Similarity between Draugr or 'the undead' and haunted dolls: How do you think they all 'work'?

In both instances though its confusing to say whether any stuff that happens would be physical or instead in a state of being close to physical but isn't. People argue alot that neither dolls nor bodies can move on their own because they don't have the mechanisms which would allow it. Another possi...

Re: Similarity between Draugr or 'the undead' and haunted dolls: How do you think they all 'work'?

I think a lot comes down to embalming and preservation methods. A 'fully natural' corpse might move a bit due to gases from decomposition. Also it could change position during cremation due to the contraction of ligaments and muscle tissue caused by heat. I think haunted dolls are actually closer t...

Similarity between Draugr or 'the undead' and haunted dolls: How do you think they all 'work'?

The notion of moving corpses once prevalent in Ancient Times seems to be phenomena to Haunted Dolls in that they are both allegedly able to move and physically interact with the environment as well as other people around them? Do you think they actually move in those cases and are best secured by be...

Re: Do the physical cosmos or just cosmos have any actual opponents or beings from outside/inside you think?

To make this simple. Do you imagine that the cosmology of what people call the natural universe or whatever force is behind it might have anything that opposes it and how possibly how it works? At the very least from the outside maybe or from other places outside of it?

Do the physical cosmos or just cosmos have any actual opponents or beings from outside/inside you think?

I imagine they could be responsible for events which happen from time to time that defy the flow of our reality but who would they be and what would they be called? I doubt they would be 'bad' as depicted by Abrahamists and some old polytheists who talked badly about 'the adversary', chances are the...

I'll answer that with another question.

First you need to decide:

what does the second death mean to you?
Its supposed to be some stage that comes after ‘physical death’ where you lose the other aspect of yourself I guess?

How do you think people ‘survived the second death’ as some historical and spiritual authors talk about?

What would it mean including its implications and how do you think whoever pulled that off managed to do it?

There are quite a couple of articles or books that talk about some old technique but not much in detail tbh on that topic.

Re: Metals and the way they interact with paranormal beings?

More importantly do you think the sharp metal object (For example if its steel) being in a sheath or not matters in reality? To add it seems like there are very few documented cases of people who own iron/steel swords, knives or spears/pole weapons in their bedroom experiencing attacks, if at all. E...

Metals and the way they interact with paranormal beings?

Don't know if this belongs here but if it doesn't I would like it moved. Would you say all metals or most metals in general are seen as bad by paranormal beings and if so why/how? Would they being blunt vs sharp make any difference? What would effect would Bronze have, Iron, Steel and so on? I heard...
