I see a lot of views for this post but no help... does noone have any ideas what it could be??? Do you all think I'm crazy?? Just curious cause I was just looking for some help

Tonight when I came out on my back porch I smelled a strong sulfuric smell, like someone lit a book of matches on fire... and in the corner of my back porch there was a huge amount of what looked like smoke. It was gone almost immediately and noone had been out here to be the cause of it... its not ...
