My first thought was of a butterfly or a mask with a figure rising up from a rose bud in the center.
But the more I look at it, I see a spirit rising from the Underworld; which makes perfect sense for a demon associated with necromancy

I have that weird thing... every time I'm walking under the lantern in dark... it's going off... Sometimes when lantern is broken... when I'm moving underneath, it's suddenly working again... Another thought:
The bravery aspect could suggest both the idea of forgetting what you've heard and approach with an open mind and an open heart, and the idea of approaching from a place of strength, meaning with a clear sense of self and with boundaries clearly defined
