I really have no more room in my apartment for altar tables, so when I was given a small wood shelf, I thought maybe I could use that as a new sacred space for a Demon Lord. I am looking into another solution, which I will probably write about later. I was looking at it and noting the small cut out heart designs on the sides, then wondering which DL I would like to put there. Immediately a voice in my head spoke up and claimed it: Lord Rosier! I was like, it hasn't even been up five minutes! *amused* Well, it DOES have hearts on it! I hope he likes it! When I get my inheritance money, I would like to work on that other solution I have, but since it requires money, that will have to wait. Here are a couple pictures of the shelf:

It looks nice, and Shelf Altar is a great idea in general!

You could even hang decorations or other things from the coat hangers on it. c: lots of potential. Thanks for sharing.

You've given me inspiration here to work on something similar. I'm working on tying an altar together. Unfortunately it's not going to be able to be a permanent installment, since I don't live alone. It'll be something collapsible and easily stored. I have a nice flat cemicircular piece of wood that I put primer paint on that I can use as the top.

I really like the idea.

I have a similar but smaller shelf like that as an altar in my family's living room for one of my deceased family members.
It will definitely be worth it.

I love the paintings in the room btw.

There are so many ways one can make an altar.

That is a wonderful idea. And, you could "double" or "triple" deck it if you wanted. I really like the idea of having free-standing objects off to either side. It provides balance. Very well done.

Those paintings are for my Abyssal/Incubus Hybrids, and to remind me of when I swam with dolphins and sharks, and a Beluga whale! :) My Kraken, King, loves them, too! The little hanging figuure is a carved wooden Foo Lion With a jade bead: She is a Servitor/Guardian creature.

Those are great ideas! I was not thinking of utilizing the little pegs for anything!

I have my main (not demonic) altar on a shelf too, in our living room. There wasn't any other suitable location. It blends in very well, for any visitors it looks like decoration if they notice it at all.

The paintings did remind me of the abyss. :)devil:
It's awesome that you've swam with them.
