It depends on where you want to go. I started by reading the Satanic Bible and Satanic Witch by Anton Levay.
He was a non-theistic Satanist.

A beginners reading list and recommendations for newbies is a great idea! I have posted other resources over the forum but should someone stumble upon this thread, I always tell people beginning their journey with demons to read the works of S. Connolly. She really lays a solid foundation when it comes to working with Demon (Daemons) and the Dark Lords.
Connolly's website is... http://www.demonolatry.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . There are downloadable pdf's which are a great place to begin. They can all be found here.. http://demonolatry.org/library-archives ... downloads/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.demonolatry.org/demons.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Honestly I recommend a LHP newbie read all they can get their hands on.
Sorry I do not have a reading list beyond the resources I have shared scattered in the forum - I share what I can when I can and have a ton of book references, but it is something that has been personal to my own learning and not like a flat out reading list that I can put together, so I share them in a natural way, usually, when I am writing essays or quoting sources. There are so many great books, but I never heard of an intro to the LHP kind of book...
