"Two brothers, two twins,
two christening gifts:
one the moon, one the sun,
nothing alike, yet
always together.

They grew and played
at chess and war
one bit the heel
one struck the head.

Enmity between
knight and wyrm
through sword
and scythe
through

Forever.

When we fight
and our blood
is earth-wine –

Sometimes I remember
Father’s laughter
a family among stars
cool firefly
evenings.

Just us, walking
in Eden, alone
with only
our wild
hearts."

I really like this! It brings up just the right thoughts and memories. I especially liked the 'wild hearts'. :grindevil:

Holy smokes this is really good. I did not expect to be greeted by beautiful poetry in the morning~
