I’m taking some easy physics courses to fill a requirement and a few days ago, the professor tried to illustrate some concept of torque. He drew a nut and a wrench... but... well they certainly look like something much more crude.

I was the first one to lose it - the rest of the ~500-student class followed suit. I had never seen this man (who was usually quite easy going and humorous) so mortified.

He tried to clarify the diagram by drawing a dashed line along the arm of the wrench but it just looks like... well it made it worse as you can see.

He dejectedly said “aw man. Am I gonna have to start over?” But we barely heard him through the roar of laughter, amplified by the size of the lecture hall. He literally CRUMPLED the page with the fury of Andras himself, grabbed a fresh copy, and began drawing in deathly silence.

Yes - one but is a serious affliction that affects many of our beloved male members of society. Apparently more common than previously thought! :devilgrin:
