Sometimes i read about using cats/drawings/symbols of cats in satanic rituals. Why are they considered so magical and mystic? Why not some other animals?
We're walking in the air
We're floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below are sleeping as we fly
I'm holding very tight
I'm riding in the midnight blue
I'm finding I can fly so high above with you...

Akelta says that Satan loves cats...
But really it’s a historical thing, of associating cats with witchcraft.
You’ve got Ancient Egypt’s love of cats, with many feline gods.
The Greeks loved the Egyptian domesticated kitties and starting taking them ...great for rodent control.
By medieval times much folklore surrounded the furballs, with their glowing eyes and nighttime activities; they became the most common of witch familiars. They became associated with magic-goddesses and witches. Many cultures have cat folklore - witches, trolls, shapeshifters, bakeneko, ovinnik, etc.
Then of course Christianity screwed the poor babies over and boy did they get their just desserts with the Black Plague.
Black cats in particular became synonymous with Halloween, witches, darkness, Satan, bad luck, etc. Some people think they are special familiars, and some people think Satan wants them as sacrifices, which is a stupid ass excuse for cruelty.
Felines are the top predators on land; yet sensual, affectionate, playful, mischievous.
And don’t they seem to just magically appear out of nowhere sometimes? Lol

Oh yeah that is true!
He doesn't want to eat and sleep while we are outside for more time. We set camera to observe him during such lonely hours. Poor sweety awaits us in front of the door much time, then sits down somewhere few meters away, and - the most interesting thing - bringing back to doors exactly ten minutes before we are back! And in that time we still aren't even near the building!
You have right about everything you have told. They are marvellous entities, not weird why Lord Satan and wise ancient cultures loved them!
