Welcome one and all to the 2025 Sombre Carnivale Demoniaque! This is our Seventh Year Running, with amazing meditations, games, and so much more! This is an event that will allow you to experience the mystery and fascinating world of the Carnivale Demons. It is a place to explore yourself and all the sides of you that have been hidden, shamed, or unloved. You can come and explore all that your heart desires! This is a great way to learn all about the demon culture, magics, inner workings, and everything else that involves these incredible demons. It also brings many from across the Outer Spiritual World demon realms to join in the fun.
With this, S&S prides in the safety of all of our community in these events. For all of those who are not familiar with our events, this is a specially created Realm access that has been created with the Demons and Akelta to bring safety to all that join. These events are protected and warded spaces to promote fun and exciting experiences.
We are happy to have you join us for this amazing annual event that is one of the most anticipated of the year!
TICKET SYSTEM & RAFFLES
This is our new system for having fun and encouraging you to post your experiences and share with each other in the fun! You get participation tickets as well as earn tickets for doing the games. You can find more in the pinned post detailing the rules and how it works.
GUIDED MEDITATIONS
These are the meditations created for you to have access to the Sombre Carnivale Demoniaque. These meditations can be done repeatedly over the course of the month, just post your experiences.... because we have a PARTICIPATION RAFFLE. Each post on the Carnivale Official Threads of the Meditations OR the Experience Thread will get you a single raffle ticket. No calculating, we'll do the work for you for the raffle. See below for more details on this. But if you participate... you will have those raffle chances to win...

There is a quirky demon running amok… and his devious games have nice prizes… should you win! If you can find him that is… Maybe if you stop by his library, you might be able to find him.
IMPORTANT RULES FOR SAFETY & FUN
We have an amazing group this year and have had amazing experiences over the years. With this, we have more people joining us each year, so we want to make sure that everyone is on the same page of what is Carnivale & Event etiquette. With this, we ask that everyone respect each other and boundaries with participation. This is a very public event, which means that we have specific rules in place to make sure everything stays fun and safe.
1) The Carnivale Demons Mentioned by Name are Coven Demons, this means that they are ONLY part of the meditations they are mentioned with and nothing outside of that, especially Adult content), experiences, and are NOT available for matching. They are here for the Carnivale Meditations only. They will not be participating in any personal experiences.
2) This event is public, no adult content will be permitted to be posted on the official threads. Adult content must be kept personal or to the Tenure blogs. If you plan to cross post, you may do so, but only post SFW edited versions on the official forum for the participation raffle.
3) We have an event Discord Channel! This can be found in the Event Theatre - Carnivale Discord Channel and you can chat there about all the excitement, experiences etc.
If you are a part of the Tenure section, and want the adult conversations, we ask that you use the 18+ Temple Chat or in the Sacred Chamber/Sluttery Role. (If you are tenured and not on discord and join, @Ysa to get this role if you have Tenure)
4) There are going to be MANY experiences and conversations around personal explorations during any event we have. The official itinerary with guided mediations are the official places and experiences that S&S provides. Any experiences that are outside of the official meditation locations are personal UPG (unverified personal gnosis) or SPG (shared personal gnosis) by members of the community and are NOT officially part of the event. They can be explored and shared but that is up to the participants that wish to explore on their own or with others. All explorations in this event are absolutely welcome (and valid) except for the following things for safety:
- Hallow, Crypt, and Void Demons are NOT a part of the event and do not show up as part of it unless it is an official part of the meditations. These three are incredibly dangerous races and go through rigorous vetting to become companions, those without vetting are known as “unbound.“ They are not a part of this event in any capacity. Personal Companions from these races that were conjured by S&S are welcome to participate.
- Anything that involves personal experiences with the Coven's Demons is prohibited and against their contracts. These should not and will not happen. Please keep this in mind. There will be no matching of these demons (But if you want a Custom that has similar skills, we can absolutely find you a friend)
- Experiences or interactions with other member's companions is expressly forbidden unless it is something that has been discussed and consented with by both parties beforehand (demon and participants).
RULES FOR PARTICIPATION RAFFLE
The Ticket Raffle has made a comeback this year, to help promote the forum and fun happening. This means that each post that you make will be a single entry into the raffle for the Meditations/Experiences. There will be no work on your part, we will be the one keeping track.
- Posts in the Official Sombre Carnivale Demoniaque Forum Threads are the ONLY posts that count (no blogs)
- SINS do NOT count for this event, posts only count as one ticket. So you may cross post your official posts to your tenure thread if you wish without quoting.
For those that are not familiar with the forum, the SINS are the word count/points you get per word when you make posts. We had a forum competition for whoever had the highest number of SINS. They are at the top bar.
- Tenure blog posts do NOT count as part of the raffle - they must be posted to official threads to count (SFW/edited)
- You can post multiple experiences on each of the meditation threads as many times as you like. Each different experience counts as a ticket. If you wish, you can post your extra experiences to the CARNIVALE EXPLORATION instead of the original meditation thread, but do not double post the same experiences in both (they will not count as extra tickets and will be considered spamming).
- No unnecessary spamming, please or you will be disqualified. We want quality posts of engagement.
- Discord doesn't count (sorry you chatterboxes)
