I love 80's music so much. It reminds me of driving up to my Nonna and Nonno's house on Vancouver Island with my dad, he had an 80's mix tape (yes a tape LOL) and I just always felt so happy.
One of my favourites

Yes, that's during the time I grew up and a lot of the 80s has good memories for me, too

I had an 8-track.
When the last time you saw one of those?
I was in college when CDs first came out (around '82, I think); and at the time, I predicted that in 20 years we'd have our music on a chip about the side of a match book that we could just plug in.
Turn out I was pretty close. except that I never imagined you could put your entire collection on one chip. We had boxes of tapes back then (still have mine), and I figured we'd have boxes of chips.

Around that time, I would have been cruising in my '57 Belaire with the windows down and the tunes cranked. An old 60's hot rod, it was hard to start and idled just as silky smooth as a Harley, but it would pass anything but a gas station when it was running right. Those were the good old days.
Belinda Carlisle has been on my mind for some reason... I think she used to be with the Go Gos.
This is the songs that's been running through my head all day, although they did the guitar a little different than I remember it...

Ah yeah!
Here's another that I remember that was wildly popular around that time.

This was a huge hit in the early-80's although the heavy Disco flair suggests it was probably written a few years earlier.

Oh my gods! I have not heard that in forever! lol

That was definitely a blast from the past.
Here's another that shattered charts and seemed to play forever.

Remember Flashdance?
Great song and great movie
Here's another fun one. The video was cutting edge at the time; there was no CGI. I seem to remember it winning awards.
