So here is a quick update on my communication with Lord Babael... ^^

It was very hard to feel his energies since it had been a while, but I was able to receive some messages. Basically, if I want to get into necromancy, I am going to have to read, read, read and prepare a biiiiit more (actually quite a bit more) before we can start some more serious work. But he doesn't seem opposed to the idea! To get started, I can also work with my crypt imp friend B, and necrosis grave Lord J whose layaway I still have to pay off!! TT-TT (thank you for being patient, my friends) I also have a few S. Connolly books I need to study a bit more thoroughly as well.

I also saw some images related to some past memories linked to the life when I had worked with him, but not specifically ones with him in them. I think I had asked how we worked together and met, and I saw a short memory of me and my friend going down a spiral staircase with a torch in hand and encountering a skeleton at the end. I don't know why but I decided this was a good time to search the body carefully and take some pens or some other thin cylindrical objects from his pockets (!!). I'm not sure if I ended up taking them or not, or was just trying to study the body and how they had died. ^^; In any case, if that is how Lord Babael and I met, then he may have gotten mad at me for touching the body and rightfully so. Ahhhhh !!!

I also saw some images of an elephant (which I'm looking up now and it represents intuition, magick, wisdom, longevity) and a ruby(?)-studded long cylindrical canister that I think ashes or something go in? I saw it and thought, "soul canister"? Funnily enough, Google only brings up names of vapes when I type that in LOL.

Anyhoo, interesting experiences so far and hopefully I can contact him again soon but it goes a little easier next time xD I'll have to work with his sigil since that brought me good results on Halloween night last year

I had an experience with Lord Rosier, even before I formally invited him. A lot of demons follow the forum here, it seems, and the Dark Lords and Ladies are very attuned to the energy here. So, Rosier heard me when I said I wished to contact him. Thoughts and instructions have been slowly creeping into my mind from him, and I finally realized it was a legitimate contact! What he told me was to go to my mirror every day, look at myself, and tell myself that I am beautiful and that I love myself every day. He told me to do this for a few weeks, and let him know what happened! Then yesterday Lady Lillith asked me to add one sentence. "I am a powerful, magickal woman!" They were like: we KNOW you can take 5 seconds to say this to yourself every day. I am trying it. It's funnyt, but even a day or so later, I feel a difference in the way I view myself.

Oh, that's good Hellcat!! I'm going to do that too. Lately, I've been quite self-conscious about my appearance ^^;

Bump bump!

Late to the party SH but still in for the month. I posted this in my blog, but thought afterwards it would be good to post for all members as my contribution to the Study Group this month.

I have been working closely with Hekate over the last few weeks. The following is word for word the results of an automatic writing session with her. She asked me to share it freely, which I am now doing. Clearly this is my UPG.

I will be writing 2 rituals accordingly coming out of this to take the method into a rite. I was blown away by the clarity of communication in this session. We only got stuck on what ended up being 2 words - material gain - I have a lot of dotted coins drawn at that point until I got what she was saying. I asked a few questions towards the end which had immediate responses.

This is not ancestral magic, although you can certainly use it for that purpose, but is clearly a practical necromancy of calling and tasking spirits or seeking knowledge.

Blessed be the great Goddess Hekate.

Necromancy Teachings

My art is mine and mine to teach. Through devotion and love and trust I am here to those who seek me out.

Necromancy is but one stream of my path. My magic is here and now in all ways of all times. Anything is possible.

Let me teach you my Art, so that you may have and learn and teach and become.

Calling spirits of the dead forth is an act of devotion to me. It is with my blessing that they are released from my realm and brought forth for communion, tasking and knowledge.

After preparing your altar as you now have, you must call to me first and seek my aid. It is with my permission that souls come forth unto you.

And it is my command that they will return from whence they came.

A devotion of life force is needed to carry them forth. Once in my presence you may present the offering in my name, granting a link between this world and your own.

Call spirits for purpose, never for entertainment. I do not condone a mockery of this path. Charlatans and those seeking material gain may not reach this path without feeling my power and anger.

Once the altar is set and devotion given, focus on the spirit you wish to bring forth. Call their name in mine, bind them to the word of the Great Goddess.

Create a ball of energy around the skull, a portal to allow the spirit to come through. Charge this portal with your devotion, offer them a spark of life from which to live again for the moments in communion with you.

Do not ask for things I do not allow. For it be on your head if you act wrongly in my name. Which you will not but others that come after may seek to do.

Charged, call upon Surgat to open the gates, and in my name to Cerberus to step aside and allow the spirit to come through.

Once called and tasked and done, In my name shall the spirit be returned. In my name shall Cerberus stand in front, lest other tortured souls seek to escape.

In my name will Surgat close the portal. Bless him and thank him for his work, for he has truly earned his place as my gatekeeper.

Offerings to the spirits?
I will allow spirits to seek reasonable requests for their souls, know that it is my decision to give this offering if they are worthy.

Offerings will be made after closing the rite, as a separate rite in my name. And only when I deem them worthy and they have completed their task.

Invocation of the spirits?
You may not invoke these spirits into you unless they are not of my sphere. At your will does the magician call on others to do your bidding.

The souls of humans past is what I offer unto this Art. And it is the souls of humans to come that may also be harnessed in this way, for I am a truth beyond all time. I am Ever.

Dark moons will bring forth dark souls. Conjure to your need. Full moons bring the brightest of my kin, for they can teach much beyond the common man.

My nymphs, psychopomps, creatures and entropies of force and form. All these may be conjured as above.

Offerings to Hekate?
Love, life, truth and devotion. Energy. I need not of material things, but your efforts and commitment to my path.

Who can access this material?
The lessons of the hearth fire are not for those unworthy. The lessons will be missed and useless to those who I do not activate.

Share freely, know that only those I deem worthy will be given passage to proceed.

Stoke my fires, burn them bright. For the powers of mine come from the night. In Fire I come in Fire I bring. Know again, your loved, your kin.

I just realised people won't understand what skull I am talking about. Not near my computer to copy the image right now (it is in my blog) but I built an altar, made of tumbled smokey quartz base, with animal bones inside a plaster of paris human skull. The smokey quartz is surrounded by tumbled onyx. It also has a statue of Hekate, and candles at each quarter. The idea was to replicate a hole in the ground like they used to practice necromancy, but with the added manifestation capability of smokey quartz, with the souls brought forth contained by a ring of onyx. An offering of a drop of blood provides the life essence that was once offered in the form of a sheep sacrifice.

Calin I was so amazed to hear about Hecate. I am not ready to work with her right now, but I have great respect and admiration for this wise Goddess. Your Altar is amazing, and the picture is giving me ideas! I have some very basic altars, and I would like to make them all more visually appealing, like yours is. Powerful! Thank you so much for sharing! I know most of you work and are so busy, and it takes a lot of dedication and energy to work on these things. Building an altar is the ultimate act of magick. It must be cleansed and consecrated, and worked with. I can see you thought this out very well, and put so much more into it than what we can see. Kudos!
