I like to listen to creepy stories on YouTube. Something that comes up quite a bit are cryptid encounters, which are quite fascinating. One thing that always boggles my mind is how tall the creatures are supposed to be.
Anyway, I wonder what the difference is between dogmen, goatmen, werewolves, skinwalkers, rakes, etc. They sort of sound like variations of the same things. Also I can’t recall if anyone has ever reported seeing a female of anything. Even more interesting is a couple stories of encounters with Krampus.
I wonder what in the world these people are encountering. Is it Krampus, Pan, a satyr, a giant dog, shamans, spirits, what? And then there are the fishmen and lizardmen. You know what’s noticeably missing though? Cat people. Seriously. Zero stories. Well there was one which sort of sounded like the Beast of Bodmin but that’s not a cryptid at all, just big cats on the loose.
