Tarantulas are native to Arkansas. You don't see them very often because they burrow underground, but they're around.
There is a web of what I believe were called Long Legged Cellar Spiders, probably ten feet square hanging over my head right now. Once in a while one will drop down in front of me; but for the most part, they leave me alone and I leave them alone.

My buddy's son can tell you all about the Brown Recluse.
He got bitten on the leg, and I'm thinking Crissy said they had to cut out a chunk of necrotic flesh the size of a silver dollar and an inch deep.
I think they eat like a star fish... Instead of simply sucking the juice out like most spiders would do, they inject an enzyme that digests the prey from the inside out and leaves nothing but an empty shell.

I haven't forgotten my encounter with Grandmother Spider in her Black Widow aspect...
If you could figure out how to get the psychedelic affect without the religious experience (I spent some really quality time with the Porcelain God) coming into play, you could sell that.

That looks like something out of a movie
The first step in working miracles is realizing that you can.
