Hunted Through the Carnivále

Nightmares can sink us,
They can claim us and terrorize us,
Reveal to us the deepest and most sinister fears of the soul,
They are the places where we are tested,
They are the places where we are transformed,
Transformed by deep and terrifying lessons.
The Nightmare Carnivále of the Damned continues to change
continues to take the world deeper into madness
deeper into it’s darkness
Everyone you know vanishes,
everyone you once held dear is changed by it’s terror
That is the nature of a nightmare
that is the nature of madness
to slowly rob you of everything you are
and everyone you love
until there is nothing left
until everything has fallen to ruin
You feel it in your soul, you know it is time to return, it is time to return to the Nightmare Carnivále of the Damned

The transformed Silhou is chasing after me. My vision shifts to a dark spectrum as I run effortlessly. I spread my wings and attempt to take to the air but Silhou knocks me to the ground. I hit hard but roll to my feet and run again. My plants spring up forming a barrier. He tears through it but it provides a buffer. I glide through the darkness and shift to my shadow form. I dart around him, long thorny vines whipping from me. They tangle and strike him and he roars as he spins toward me but I shift away and appear on his other side. I gather lightening into a whip and strike him repeatedly with it as he repeatedly bellows and attempts to charge. A phantom of my dark tree rises from the soil and I draw upon my power, bringing massive networks of lightening on him as the predatory plants I had seeded through the carnival bind him. Its last for a time and almost appear to be weakening him but he breaks through and charges me renewed purpose.

The solar demoness then comes and saves my ass and takes me from there to her tent where I am safe and learn about the objects before returning from the carnival.
