I had a weird introduction to demonology

I've been thinking lately about what (little) I know about demons since reading the forum. Evenmoreso about the strange introduction I had from a certain person who is no longer a presence on the internet as far as I know. I received a lot of misinformation, but I can at least credit this person for introducing me to Marbas.
I say "this person" because it was a girl wanting to be a guy, and I have strong opinions which I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings with ... but this particular person was not right in the head, and openly admitted to having mental problems and taking medications. Former roommates and former friends also came forward and reported odd and abusive behavior, stolen ideas/UPG, and how this person would continue to change names and resurface in the pagan community (as well as having different "problems" or "genders" to use to manipulate people with so it's hard to say if this person is legitimately trans or just jumps on whatever bandwagon will be useful at the time). Not long after this blew up, this person shut down their blog and Etsy store. Anybody who remembers this person will recall how overdramatic and self-important all the writings were, and it doesn't take a psychology degree to figure out that it was to make up for a poor childhood or bullying or whatever. Not to mention all the devotional writings and astral experiences were extremely pervy and focused on sex.
Unfortunately though, it led to a lot of BS confusion for people trying to seriously learn about Loki and gods and demons and whatever.
This person claimed:
- to be a son of Loki by a female elf of the "Cat Tribe" of Vanaheim, and that he has an elf brother named Clarence
- to be married to a demon named D'gras Yanlin, who had not only assisted the Aesir and the Vanir, but who also used to hold the title of Lucifuge Rofocale [for the longest time he hid the identity of this demon, calling him only D]
- that if you called upon a demon lord or lady, they are so busy that one of their staff would probably answer instead in their name and you'd never know it
- according to other blogs, this person wrote incorrect or stolen gnosis about demons, the Hell Court, and particularly Asmodeus
I seem to recall that this person got some of the genders backwards or interchangeable as well.
I suppose one positive is that this person sparked an interest in demons, and I do remember some basic Goetic info being posted, and also you could buy candles, incense, and sigll necklaces in the Etsy store to get you started with connecting. Unfortunately this person overcharged for jewelry, and one of the bs excuses was that you should spend a lot on your gods because it made the gift more meaningful. *rolls eyes*
