Can you guess how old Mr. Benny was?
I'm guessing in his early 50s.

Jack Benny was 39 for over forty years

I think that's one of the rules in show business: don't laugh onstage.

It's a slow Sunday afternoon getting myself together for the work week to start.

Some of what I'm listening to:

"Will you spill the wine
to summon the divine?"

I always have music in my head, and right now, it's this one

I hear you there! I do most of the time, if not all the time, too.

Here's an earworm dancing around in my mind:

to summon the divine?"

Broken Peach??!!?? :devilshock:
I was all ready to tell you that The Bangles did a better job with it, but I see you already got that memo :devilclap:

The Bangles were among the first of the Girl Bands to come on the scene in the 80's
And, speaking of such things...

Yes, they did a nice attempt at a cover, while not bad, not everything is going to be a win.

That's a good earworm, "I hard a rumor" . . . good for echoing in someone's mind.

Here's another one I have actually heard people complain about bouncing around in their minds:

"Will you spill the wine
to summon the divine?"

I love 80's music so much. It reminds me of driving up to my Nonna and Nonno's house on Vancouver Island with my dad, he had an 80's mix tape (yes a tape LOL) and I just always felt so happy.

One of my favourites

Lover of Demons
Royal Demon Goddess
Darling of Sublime Romance
Daughter of Demonic Macabre

Image

Walk with Satan in Shadow
Rise with Azazel in Potential
Dance with Lucifer Under the Moon
Kneel before Mammon's Throne
