Pacts will vary from demon to demon, you would need to ask them what they require, and remember you can say no or counter offer if you do not feel comfortable with what is asked. A common pact outcome I have seen is people agreeing to write about and promote the demon to others in some way, or make something in their honour.
Many do not require a formal pact to do things on your behalf either. I suggest get to know the demon you are interested in before jumping into a pact proposition. I have had a number of demons now help me with various things without having to commit to anything specifically in return. Most of them are actually keen to help us progress and evolve, if we approach and treat them with respect. Offerings regularly without requests in return will also put you in good stead for when you need something.

The only 'pact' I made was with Lord Svengali, and it was more like an agreement to help me with a curse if I provided certain essential oils which he named. He asked for my virginity at first, but I nixed that. I hope he was kidding! :p If he meant my astral virginity, he was way too late for that, anyway! I did add a drop of my blood to each small bowl of essential oil. So he got my virgin blood.

As others have suggested you should not hop into a pact right off the bat. It's not a one time problem solver depending on what you want out of it. It's very much a two way street of give and return.
If you choose to move ahead with it, depending on who you want to form a pact with there is information online in regards to basic offerings up to and including one's own blood, that is an extreme though and most demons won't ask for it.
From my personal experience all I can say in regards to offerings is to offer what you feel is right.

Ask Him for inspiration, with the promise that an inspired piece will be dedicated to him, or if it has vocals, mention him. If you put out an album, having Murmur's sigil somewhere on the album cover would also be good.
