How does it stack up against imotrex and topamax? My main triggers had to do with unhealthy (externally triggered) stress levels and mental health issues. I only rarely have them currently. But because of the nature of my triggers the imotrex only worked for me maybe 25% of the time (and NEVER when it was an ocular migraine, and I was never even considered for the topamax. I have several friends/family on it and it seemed to cut it down a whole lot.

Aimovig, Emgality, and Ajovy are the newest drugs, injections that are meant to cut down/prevent migraines.
I tried Topamax and it didn’t do anything for me.
Imitrex is one of the triptans, rescue meds that you take when you have one.
I usually use Maxalt but mine are so chronic that I take way too much too often. I’ve bounced around with different ones, like recently I tried some samples of a powder you blow into your nostrils, and I’m waiting for a prescription of Trexamet to be filled to give that a try.
I’ve tried birth control, acupuncture, hypnosis, blood pressure medications, dietary changes, herbal supplements, yadda yadda yadda and they just won’t stop.

And what about demons? 😉
We're walking in the air
We're floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below are sleeping as we fly

I'm holding very tight
I'm riding in the midnight blue
I'm finding I can fly so high above with you...

Was it helpful even for a while?

Well, you know, calling out to a god can give you comfort.
I just wish I could be cured though.

They give nothing for free. 50:50 has to be always. 50 their, 50 your effort. Successfull shadow work in most of the cases. In some areas of life i suffer from the same "disease" so i completely understand you. Let's hope we will find some strength to help us with our 50%. 🙂
