I'm very cynical about this topic so I am going to say little except this; something I learned very young: BullShit Baffles Brains.
It always has ... it always will. Gaining information via listening to the 'learned speak' usually ends the same. No matter the topic.

Many people hail science .... and they believe they can trust it implicitly.
Science is like anything else, it can be (mis)used to prove your own position.
Look after your-Self. Do the work. Don't take anything @ face value.
