Starting Astral Projection

So does anyone here have any tips for when starting Astral Projection? The only astral experience I can remember was unintentional, am not sure how it was done at all.

R people project/astral travel with opened or closed eyes? I mean, im pretty sure its impossible with eyes opened...Zonk01 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 1:49 amA good visualization technique for me as a warm up, is to sit down, look at the space I’m in. Look at it and try and close your eyes and see the image in your mind. Try and get the space correct in your mind. Open your eyes, look for a minute, close and try and recreate it. I do this as a warm up for whenever I want to project. It helps me, but just try and play around with it and see if it helps you.
You actually can with your eyes opened, but it’s all about focus. It’s better to start off with your eyes closed, so you can really focus. When you get better at it, it’s possible to do it with your eyes opened. But the first key is visualizing. Really try to picture the image of where you want to travel to.Annabelle wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 11:45 amR people project/astral travel with opened or closed eyes? Getting over the trust hump is really hard. Go with your gut. Your gut never lies to you. First imagine a door that will take you wherever you want to go, affirm that your destination is on the other side of the door, then open it and walk through. After that, you will be where you want to go. It’s important to not doubt yourself as you walk through the door. When you are at where you want to be, visualize it. Start really trying to look around. What do you see? What do you smell? What do you hear? What do you feel? Take note of everything. It also might help to take notes of your travels after you return to your body. To return, use the door again. Visualize the door, tell yourself that you will be back in your body after you step through the door, then walk through and end your meditation. After you finish traveling, ground yourself and take some time to get back “in the moment”.Annabelle wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 2:36 amI got ur point, for the beginning i ll try with my eyes closed, but how to ensure myself that travel isnt just my rich imagination?Zonk01 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 2:31 pm

Is it possible to lose your body in astral travel somehow/not being able to find your way back to it? And when u r imagining that door again for returning back, can your fear and doubts which fills u during the few first travels make your astral being unable to open it and bring back? And what to do if such thing happens?Zonk01 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 3:12 am
