June 20th Group Solar Infusion Ritual
This amazing ritual will be cast on June 20th, on the night before the Summer Solstice. We will be casting this with two of the Sages from the Torni'l, a race of "Pheonix shifters" that I have been working with for some time now. They offer two of their sigils designed for physical and emotional rejuvenation during this time.
This service is a group ritual to be held on June 20th, starting on the day before the Summer Solstice. This service, carrying through the actual Solstice itself will carry all of the energies of it into the coming months. As the candle burns, the energy builds within us and around everything we do. This service is designed to instill the energizing and uplifting aspects of the sun.
The Summer Solstice is a powerful time, marking the beginning of the season as well as its ties to the midsummer celebrations held in Europe. Midsummer was a time of celebrations and feasts. Originally a Pagan holiday centered around the sun, it was adopted by early Christians as the feast day for St. John the Baptist. In early Europe, this holiday was celebrated with bonfires where participants would leap over the flames to divine the size of that years harvest, healers gathering herbs for medicinal use, and community celebrations. Fertility magick was also a common practice on these nights. Young maidens would gather fertility gifting herbs, and in Greece, it was said that young women would discover their true love on this night.
The energy of this night is of abundance, of looking forward into the next few months leading up to the harvest. These celebrations survived well into the 18th Century in rural parts of the countries that celebrated Midsummer. This group ritual harnesses the energies of those past celebrations and passes it onto all of its participants.
When this ritual is set, each participant will have a small candle dressed, set, and blessed for them in order to help bridge the energies of this ritual to them. Upon completion of this ritual, each participant will receive an email with photos of the ritual process as well as a brief write up/summary of any discernable signs that can be divined from reading the wax.
