Question about sludge darkness

I know what sludge darkness is, but the question I have is what are all of its sources, and can it be carried over from one generation to the next?
There's false darkness and there is sludge.
Sludge can be dark but can also be light.
What do you mean can it be carried from one generation to the next? Like passed on through your family?
Yes, sludge can rub off and taint family members. But that's mostly due to prolonged exposure.
