Absolutely nothing! However as I always state, you are encouraged to reach out and connect to the ritual in meditation, with a small offering or a lit candle to signal your reception of the rite's power. The nature of such can be anything that you personally intuit or holds personal significance between you and the divinities involved.
This can be done any time prior to or after the work, and will reinforce the flow of the rite's impact as well as the shape it is to take for you.
