For anyone who has dealt with a Narcessist or is dealing with a Narcessist. Eilana shared this with me this morning. It is so true. It is amazing to. The second you take the neutral stance the narcesssist going away. They don't know what to do, they can no longer maniulate you, so they usually go away. Its a great article.

So true, and the grey rock analogy is spot on, the other one is the poke face.

It has taken me over 40 years to perfect this with my narcissist mum but I have done it. I just let it all wash over me and do not play the game. In fact from a fun point of view, I go home afterwards and even my husband remarks on how well I handled that visit and it makes a nice change to see my mum squirm as she is no longer getting her way.
