Hello brothers and sisters, I have recently started my journey of the LHP, I started by watching videos from E.A. Koeting, and taking Akelta's advice about reading, and pratcing with shields and protection against sludges. I have been reading lots of books lately and the thing that I have found is that when I read a book where the author comes across with a contemporary view or description of demons and working with spirits, I get this almost literal disgusted feeling and contempt. To the point where I have a hard time even reading a single page. Anyways my main question is how you know which demon wants to work with you first? I have read, and am still rereading both the greater and lesser keys of Solomon to get an idea of which one I would like to start with, but what about when for example you are thinking of working with Mamon, but actually it would be someone like leviathan that wants to work with you more, but you don't realise who is calling to you. (those demons we're just examples). I hope someone can answer this question for me.

If a spirit is calling to you, it's gonna be obvious. Signs aren't needles in a haystack. You have room to wonder, so there's no demon calling to you. If you're new to demons, go by the book as closely as you can, the Solomonic procedures are a pain in the ass for a reason. If you're new to spirit work, why are you starting with demons? But, that is the truth...whatever you see from E. A. Koetting, you want to do the complete and total opposite.

I'm attempting to build a relationship with Azazel first. Why him? My dreams have always been a very powerful and significant part of my path so I try to always pay attention to what goes on in them, who is in them, what is said and so on. So, I had been pondering with whom to begin with and Azazel's name came to me in a dream and I hadn't read anything about him around that time and so it came out of nowhere so I took that as a sign.

So, if not your dreams, listen to TV programs or read books, look at signs/posters and such when you are outdoors, listen to other people talk to see if certain names come up and so on.
